After producing customised glass art last term as my field product I mean some harsh criticism, I was also given some sound advice on how to redesign my idea and improve on the final product. I was advised by both Theo and Gareth to look into producing a product to store photographs rather that display them.
This then brought me to researching photo storage, and due to the minimalistic style that has emerged recently ideas were fairly slow in emerging. Producing ‘sheek’ painted furniture was also very re-occuring during research and could be an idea!
I then went home for the weekend where my grampa pointed me to some old antiques which had been left to rot in a shed, after looking throught them I decided that this would be the basis to my photograph storage unit. This could add a personal touch somehow which I could customise further and re design the interior to suit the old exterior.
